Software Techniques Forms VAR Agreement with UNISYS

WINTER PARK, FL – (PRNewswire) – June 25, 2002 – Software Techniques, Inc. the premier provider of customized computer assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) software to government property appraisers, announced today that it has formed a cooperative Value Added Reseller “VAR” agreement with UNISYS Corporation (NYSE:UIS).

Under the agreement, Software Techniques will promote the UNISYS ES7000 platform to its new and existing Microsoft-based clients and UNISYS will promote Software Techniques’ CUSTOMCAMA solution to select clients. The products, when combined, offer clients feature-rich software with complete flexibility, set up on a leading platform with mainframe-class performance and maximum, industry-standard processing power.

“Our agreement with Software Techniques is built on the obvious synergy that exists between CUSTOMCAMA and our Microsoft-based platform solutions,” Jo Hart, Partner Relationships Executive at UNISYS said. “The goal is for both companies to capture additional market share within the government sector through the union of our highest quality ES7000 hardware and their CustomCAMA software.”

Recently, the Harris County Appraisal District located in Houston, Texas and representing the second largest appraisal district in the United States, selected CustomCAMA as its property appraisal software solution, to run on the UNISYS ES7000 platform.

“The ES7000 platform is highly compatible with CUSTOMCAMA, offering property appraisal offices an efficient, streamlined technology operation,” Larry Zirbel, Software Techniques’ founder and Chief Executive Officer commented. “The compatibility of our products made forming this partnership an obvious move, with the intent of both companies leveraging each other’s expertise to increase sales and provide clients with new deployment options.”

On June 24, a Webcast was conducted to familiarize the UNISYS sales staff with the CUSTOMCAMA solution and its compatibility with the ES7000 product line. The two companies will immediately begin promoting each other’s products to prospects and current clients.
