Software Techniques, Inc. Announces CAMATOOLS

Software Techniques (STI), the leader in state of the art, Custom CAMA software is pleased to introduce its new product: CAMATools. CAMATOOLS is a turnkey, enterprise application for County Assessor’s and Property Appraiser’s. Based on many years of experience in writing and deploying custom software for property appraisers, STI has taken the best features from its many development efforts and placed them into a single product offering. The CAMATOOLS product offers the sophistication and performance of high-end custom software, packaged for easy deployment and maintenance.

Even though the CAMATOOLS product shares the same look and feel as our CustomCAMA systems and is based on the same data structures and sound programming techniques, it is a unique software product with its own product life cycle and support options. This results in a full-featured, stable product that is not impacted each time a custom enhancement is made to another County’s system.

Benefits:
The CAMATOOLS product includes all the best features from our CustomCAMA installations with a lower cost of ownership and reduced maintenance requirements. Because updates and product evolution are provided through a standardized software release schedule, end users continue to enjoy regular upgrades without the added overhead in terms of time and cost required with a fully customized installation.

CAMATOOLS clients will benefit from the research and development done for CustomCAMA clients and significant custom features will be made available within the CAMATools product. In addition, the CAMATOOLS development team will continue to evolve the CAMATOOLS product independently to ensure the product remains state-of-the-art.

Because add-in components and customization services can be purchased separately, client’s are not paying for service or features they do not want or need.

Maintenance:
STI offers an exceptional maintenance program which provides for unlimited phone support and rapid turn-around for bug fixes. Yearly and/or quarterly update schedules are available and include major system enhancements, enhancements to comply with changing legislation and state reporting requirements. Maintenance also includes technical assistance for end of year processing, taxpayer notification processing and system recovery.
