Software Techniques, inc. (STI) announces major enhancements to its previously existing sketch tool. STI is premier provider of Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) Software, specializing in providing clients with software that work for them the way they need it to work. STI originally created their sketch tool in 1996 and has recently added features that make the tool even more efficient and user friendly.

STI's sketch tool, CAMASKETCH BUILDING SKETCH TOOL, includes many standard features like the ability to handle angles, arcs and curves, but it includes much more. The newly enhanced CAMASKETCH now allows users to copy and past sub areas as well as allowing the ability to move, flip and rotate one or multiple sub areas at one time. Users can also take advantage of some of our great time saving features, for example, we have pre-created shapes that can be manipulated to more easily add new sub areas or pools.

Additional features include adding custom labels, changing the position of measurements to make them easier to read, adding patterns and colors to individual sub areas, the ability to use both the mouse and the keyboard, and much more. STI has also has a standard report that includes a picture of the building, the sketch, sub area detail and building notes. This report can be integrated with your current CAMA system to include the Owner Name, Site Address and Account number.

Currently CAMASKETCH is being used in full production by Harris County Appraisal District maintaining 1.6 million parcels. CAMASKETCH is one of several CAMATOOLS provided by Software Techniques, inc. STI has been providing CAMA software for property appraisers since 1994.
