CAMASEC™
controls default, application-level, group-level, and
individual user access to all applications in our
product suite. In addition, it controls access to
all fields, menu options, and actions as well as
data entry access by property type.
Security is present throughout all CAMATOOLS applications
and databases. All menu items and actions can be enabled
and disabled. Individual form fields can be made available
for read, write, or both. To secure values during entry,
such as Income Information or Social Security Numbers,
you can hide the values so they show up as asterisks
(****).
Security is implemented by assigning users to groups.
Security is then defined at either the group or individual
level. In addition, you can assign default security
behavior and then override that behavior by user,
database, group, or application.
CAMASEC allows you to define custom access, to lock
down a database completely, or to allow replication
and dataflow for offsite work with simple actions.
