STI's APPLICATION INTEGRATION SERVICES range from
enhancing legacy systems to replacing entire application
portfolios,
either through custom development or acquisition of
third-party products. During the strategic planning
phase of a project, STI will review all possible system
options with the client, and together we will opt for
a solution that meets the client's current and future
business needs delivering a solution that's operationally
efficient and cost-effective.
In each client engagement, STI endeavors to identify
solutions that leverage the client's existing IT investments
in hardware, software, and training. Moreover, our
approach is to develop an implementation strategy that
allows the client company's IT infrastructure to seamlessly
evolve to a new level of capability.
Application Integration Services includes the following
activities:
- Software Development - Acquire, customize and implement third-party software,
and support of any enhancements to existing applications.
- Applications Maintenance - Make modifications
or minor enhancements; install software upgrades,
and application performance tuning.
- Legacy Application Systems Development and Maintenance
- Change Management - Implement methodologies and
processes to control the rate of change and the
quality of changes introduced in production
application systems.
- Custom Applications Development

Our Application Services engagements begin with an
in-depth analysis of a client's business to determine
the condition of the application systems and IT infrastructure
that support the business. Specific objectives of the "Client
Needs Analysis Study" are:
- Understand the business' goals, objectives, and
plans.
- Understand the client's business processes.
- Assess the effectiveness and flexibility of the
IT infrastructure.
- Conduct a technology scan to determine the appropriate
elements of a solution that can be tailored
to the client's needs.
After satisfying all the objectives of the study,
STI will present its findings to the client, along
with its recommended course of action and the next
steps in the process. At the client's option, STI may
also assist the client with the implementation of the
proposed solution.
